After the success of the 2006 Kyosho Cup round that was held at
Tibshelf, Kyosho UK in association with Ben Racing are pleased to
announce the running of a full series for 2007.
The series will run for three rounds at some of the most challenging tracks in the country and all rounds are to count – a champion must be able to master all conditions! With very nice prizes for the series winners! Classes The series will cater for R spec chassis such as the V-OneR, RR, RRR, FW05. Any drivers wishing to compete with an S Class chassis will run with the R class but the points will be counted separately. Rules R Class Drivers are to run to current BRCA rules and regulations – these can be found in the current BRCA handbook S Class Any S class chassis can be used as long as it is original format with no non-Kyosho option parts on and must be run with the original GX-15 motor. Dimensions and body rules as the R Class Dates and Venues The dates for the meetings are as follows:
At all meetings there will be full trackside support for all runners with spares, fuel and tyres readily available. Race Format Saturday will be devoted to open practice with 3 x 5min rounds of qualifying and finals to be run on the Sunday. Qualifying and finals to be run to current BRCA times and regulations:
All other finals to be run over duration of 15 mins Points Scoring All rounds of the series are to count to the overall points total with not ‘throw-aways’. The points will be awarded 100 points for 1st in the A, 99 points for 2nd and so on. An extra point is awarded to the top qualifying driver in each class.
