12th Section EGM details

The 12th Section EGM will be held on the 19th April 2008, starting at 2pm, at the Premier Travel Inn, Hockley Heath, on the A3400 Birmingham ­ Stratford upon Avon road, 2 miles from J4 of the M42. Attached you will find some forms and files to help you help us.

Proposals go on the relevant form, must be seconded, and the proposer should attend the EGM. Appreciating this isn't always possible, then someone should be able to represent you. It is often the case that proposals, after discussion, get amended. To ensure that the final amendments are in line with your original idea, you really need to be there, or have someone to represent you.

Applications for National events go on that form. Again, your Club must be represented at the meeting for your application to be considered, so that we can talk dates and formats with you directly to finalise a calendar on the day.

Nominations for Committee positions can also be made using the form provided, and these require a seconder, too. It would help if the person nominated had agreed to stand before you propose someone, so best to ask them!

A copy of the current Rules, and last year's Minutes, are also available for download, to help you formulate any proposals, or points, you want to raise at the meeting.
