2006 EGM Minutes

20/04/2006

The BRCA 12th Section held its EGM on 8th April at Hockley Heath, near
Birmingham.  Almost 30 people attended and worked through a packed agenda.

The 2006/7 Season was one of the best on record for both numbers of drivers
(115 different drivers across all classes) and quality of racing.  We
enjoyed a great new venue at Hereford, as well as the best of the ones we've
loved in the past.

We played with some ideas for improving our racing, but in the end the "if
it ain't broke, don't fix it" message cam trough loud and clear.  So, we
will allow brushless motors next year in Modified, we will have a better
arrangement for entering Teams and giving a season-long Team Championship
battle and we will have two Grand Prix-style events - one for 19T and one
for Modified.

Dates for the Nationals are confirmed, and the entry forms will be available
in the next Circuit Chatter.  If you have any comments on the Minutes,
please contact the Section Secretary, Kevin Bradley, through the website.
