From the M62
Take junction 24 (east or westbound). Go to the main roundabout and take the A629 to Halifax. You go back under the Motorway and down a steep hill that is a dual carriageway. One mile and this road becomes a single carriageway with some traffic lights. Turn left at the lights signposted A6112 Stainland. (white sign).
You then need to turn immediate left again (25 yards) at a mini-roundabout. 400 yards along here you go under a railway bridge, 200 yards further on your left is the entrance to the track. It is signposted Westvale Sports Ground.
From Halifax Centre
Take the A629 for the Motorway. Eventually you will go down a very steep hill with a right hander in the middle. At the bottom is a Shell Garage on the left. Keep going for nearly a mile and you come to a Y junction. Take the A6112 Stainland turn (second left off the roundabout), straight over the mini-roundabout (30 yards) and 400 yards along here you go under a railway bridge. 200 yards further on your left is the entrance to the track. It is signposted Westvale Sports Ground.
General
This track has certain aspects that are Governed by the Planning Permission granted to it. The main one is noise. As such no one is allowed to pit outside the pits area or use their car outside the track area. Anyone found doing so will be obliged to leave the meeting.
Camping
Plenty of camping is available but as the sports area is not yet finished, the camping area has not been permanently marked. The main grass area is a football pitch which is hired out to Football Clubs. You cannot park or camp on the football field or use it as a recreational area. Please drive down the access road to the far end and camp behind the far goals. The fee for this is £5 booked in advance. Bar-B-Q units must be used with care. Showers are available to all campers.General parking must be done with care so everyone can get in. Do not park alongside or in the area at the side of the café. Park chevron like off the main access road and as close to each other as possible.
