Mendip Raceway is to the south of Weston Super - Mare, just of the M5

Directions To Mendip Raceway.
From the M5.
Leave the Motorway at junction 21 (Weston - Super – Mare). Follow the slip road to the traffic lights and go around the roundabout to the third exit (Weston - Super – Mare). Go straight over three roundabouts and the next one should have superstores all around it. Take the first exit at this one and then at the mini – roundabout go straight over (McDonalds Blockbuster Videos and the IMO Car Wash should be on the left).
Follow this road over a railway
bridge and down to another mini – roundabout; (there is quite a distance between
the railway bridge and the mini – roundabout) you will know if it is the right
one because there are houses ahead of you and a school on your right. Take the
second exit (all the way around) and you will go past a garage and a couple of
shops. You will go over another railway bridge and down to a roundabout with
Weston General Hospital in front of you. Take the first left and follow the
road up an incline and round several bends. Take no notice of the crossroads
and keep going around several more bends and a straight. You will see two pubs
on the right and a turn – off in between them.
Take this road (Accommodation Road) and follow it through three corners and three straights and you will see two big metal gates ahead of you; they may both be open so it will look like a turning (these gates are on a left hand bend so be careful of oncoming traffic). There is also a Mendip Model Motor Racing Club sign on the left of the gates. Go through these gates and follow the road to the left into the parking area.
If you do go past the gates you will know because you will go over a railway bridge round a left/right chicane and then there is a really long straight (about a mile long). If you do go too far there are plenty of places that you can turn around.
It takes about 20 – 25 minutes
to get from the motorway to the racetrack.
