2007 1/10th IC Nationals at Tibshelf

15/02/2007

The 1/10th IC Section is pleased to announce that the Nationals at Tibshelf will go ahead as planned.

However Tibshelf Club has been forced to introduce measures to reduce noise levels so that IC Racing can return to Tibshelf.  One of these measures is to require all IC cars which race at the track to use an INS box type air filter enclosure.  This is to be fitted to all IC powered vehicles which use the Tibshelf track, including 200mm cars.

This is an extra requirement we are forced to comply with in addition to our normal rules, otherwise the National meeting cannot take place at the Tibshelf track.

The 1/10th IC Section is arranging to have a supply of INS boxes at a reduced price.  The price is now confirmed at £14, this includes an air filter and treatment oil.  If you wish to buy through the section please contact me by the e-mail link below.

We will have supplies available at the track on the Saturday before the first meeting at Tibshelf, but need to know the level of demand. This offer will be available to all section members.

You may be aware that EFRA has announced the intention to introduce INS boxes and 3 chamber pipes for 2008. It is possible we will be adding this to our rules for 2008, so the INS box will become compulsory eventually.
