Sorry I have not been in touch sooner but been busy this end.We have tried the receiver again and all seemed well so i went one step further and it appears that the local Rabbits got hungry or bored and decided to chew at part of the loop which has the capacitor in line with it. Although it is showing a good signal when a transponder goes over the line this could be why cars where missing laps as part of the wirewas on the surface of the grass due to the rabbits.

This wire was originally 3 inches under ground, as you may well no there is several patches of grassaround the track which has turned to dirt which is caused by rabbits. This problem is now being solved as I have now ordered a new AMB timingloop and I am going to extreme measures to make sure this problem does
not happen again.

The AMB Receiver will be monitored and I will let you know ASAP if a problem
is found with it.

Also at the 8th meeting the PA system was not very loud and drivers found it hard to hear what was going on.I have now fixed this problem due to one speakerwhich decided to blow at the same time you guys came down. and all i can now say is if drivers cant here what is said now then i will bye them hearing aids as it can now be heard from the local pub !!!

I would like to apologise to all drivers that attended and also Dennis Jones and Eric Whitefor all the problems that happened at the weekend.
