After intensive investigations into the lap times at Brooklands, the race director Dennis Jones cannot guarantee the results. Between us we have spent several days trying to ensure the accuracy, but there is just not enough data. Therefore we have no option but declare the meeting void.

We know all the drivers that attended this event were very frustrated on the day but the chairmen Eric White would like to once again reiterate that this situation was not under our control. Shane has confirmed that their loop is faulty, you can read all the details here.

As the national championship will now be run over 9 rounds it will be the best 6 to count. With the championship so close we are all looking forward to a thrilling last three rounds.
