Fifteen year old Ian was the top junior in 4 of the 8 rounds. Ian and his dad (long suffering pit man) Bill, travel from Ireland for each of the BRCA national events. Some of the journeys are absolute epics. It's stories of missed ferries, closed roads and the occasional map reading errors. But through all this they are at every event and their commitment and enthusiasm are legendary. Ian has been attending BRCA nationals for a few years, but at the start of this years championship it was evident Ian had a made a major breakthrough in his driving. At the 2nd round in Halifax Ian won the B final outright and 6 months later TQ'd overall at the same venue! An impressive rise to form and still improving. The points table can be found here

With
one round to go Ian Campbell from Bettystown County Meath Ireland
secured the 2006 8th IC circuit junior championship. The
competition for the title came from Jason Frost and up and coming RC
star Kyle Branson.
