At this time of the year there are always lots of discussions as to how things can be improved and want the racers want to see for next year. All proposed rule changes including race formats would be discussed and voted on at the AGM in October.

To make sure this process works, as you would like it, please take note of the following.

Proposals for discussion at the AGM must reach the committee by the 12^th of October. Please send these to scott@brca.org for publishing on the web site and circulation.

 Number of rounds for next year

Normally at the AGM we try to get a feel for how many rounds the drivers would like. In the past yeas we have ranged between 9 and 11 (we only had 11 this year due to an anomaly in the calendar). Please let us have your views on the number of rounds you would like and any rationale behind your views. The committee will do its best to come up with a calendar to suit the majority taking into account circuit availability and as indicated by the vote at the AGM.

 A new thread on RC chat has been started for you to express your views at http://www.rcracechat.com/vb/showthread.php?t=35727 If you can’t access that you can email your views to scott@brca.org and he will circulate to the committee.

 European A & B championships

You need to commit at the BRCA AGM or before for a place in the A & B euro next year. Entry fee is £60 and you need an EFRA licence. The B’s are in the last week in May in Austria at the KIRCHBERG/RAAB circuit. And the A’s the last week in July at ROESELAERE in Belgium. We have had a problem this year with drivers entering but not attending. This causes us a problem in securing more places so please only commit if you are sure you can make it. If at a later date you decide to enter I may be able to get you a place but you will have to pay a 50% late entry fee.  To secure your place give Scott Nettleton a cheque made out to the BRCA for £60.

 And finally remember to vote you must be at the AGM on the 28th October
