KEITH OVERTON

Along with many people I was surprised and saddened to heat the news that Keith Overton had passed away just before Christmas. A leading member of LRCC, I first met Keith when he race directed the 1/8th series championship meeting at Crystal Palace in 2005. Not being an 1/8th racer himself Keith came down to the track on Saturday and asked me if I would talk him through our particular race procedure.

It's a tribute to Keith that at the AGM later that year his race direction at that meeting was singled out as being one of the slickest run that season. A leading member of the London Radio Car Club and Crystal Palace, Keith's hard work and input will be sorely missed. On behalf of the 1/8th section in particular and all racers in general I would like to pass on our condolences to Keith's family
