1/2th F2 Stock Cars World series Round 7

1/12th Scale Stockcars

Racing got started dead on 10am after drivers briefing with a few issues raised on motors which I'm sure all have seen on Facebook.
With four rounds and three to count it was going to be hard work making the top four to go straight through into the final with Dan Skeels breaking the lap record by 4 laps with  96 laps in the first round.
So after four rounds top four to make the main final are Dan Skeels, David Tomlinson, Dan Stamp, James Stamp, so next sixteen cars make the two eight car semi-finals.
The semi-finals are six minute races with some very hard and fast racing in both,  semi 1 had leader changes and second place changes  between Ian Rolph Allen Inness ,Ryan Stuart and Brodie Hopkins with Ryan Stuart dropping back with speedo problems near the end to finish 5th, top two in semi one Ian Rolph and Allen Inness  to make the final.
Semi 2 looked a faster race with Chris Usher leading for most of the race and a fight for second between Owen Bates and Callum Ogden right to the end with Owen Bates just taking second spot .
So the final six minutes of very fast racing at the start Dan and Dave managed to get away after a first bend pile up from third on the grid Dan Stamp and the rest  Dan and Dave soon to be a lap up on the rest of the field with Dan pulling away but Dan  had a knock and Dave taking the lead  but not for long with Dave been knocked out of the track with the rest of the pack flying past leaving Dave down in sixth and his final position this left Chris and Dan Stamp to take up second and third with Dan Skeels flying in front to finish up four laps up on second place man Chris Usher. The rest of the results for the final are in the picture.
