BRCA GT12 South East regional Series

A series that started back in November in conjunction with Zen-Racing and Phats Bodies visited some of the best clubs in the South east region and attracted drivers of all abilities.

The first round of the BRCA Scottish GT12 regionals 2018 took place on Sunday 14th of January and was hosted by Dundee and Angus Radio Controlled Car Klub. This was the first round of a four round series involving Dundee and Angus Radio Controlled Car Klub, Grampian Radio Car Club and Lothian Radio Control Car Club. The series is now in its fifth year and continued the successful format of previous years of 4 rounds of qualifying and 3 finals for all racers. As well as GT12 cars support classes for 13.5 blinky touring cars and Formula 1 cars were also offered.

New for 2018 and starting round 4, all event entry will be handled by the excellent BRCA Entry system

BRCA F1 Sub-Committee Announcement – Rule Clarification

Silverstone RCMCC, Schumacher Racing and XFactory UK are pleased to announce the British Off Road Grand Prix 2018. It will be held between the 12th and 14th January 2018 at the Centre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes. This unique venue allows members of the public the chance to see a world class event up close. its sure to be a fantastic event.

The BRCA 10th Circuit committee would like to announce that the current GRP tyres will again be used for the upcoming 2017/18 season.

The Halifax track will be open to non-members on Saturday 17th March for a fee of £10 on the day. Also there is a club race meeting the following day for a further fee.

At the 2017 BRCA 8th Circuit Section AGM a proposal was put forward that the surfaces of the circuits we use can be treated with an additive applied to the surface by the organising team for the purposes of enhancing the grip levels for all.

To all Large Scale Off Road National Championship Racers,

It has been bought to the Large Scale Off Road committees attention that multispeed transmission systems may soon be available for some of the off road vehicles which participate within our championship.

With an increase in popularity outside of our normal stomping ground (Midlands & South Wales), the section decided it should try travelling a little further North this season, and with that our first National event of 2016/17 was held last weekend at MB Raceway near Leeds.
