Welcome to Radio Control Bikes

Think of a “Club” running Nationwide Meetings, that’s what we try to be.

We are a relatively small group of RC enthusiasts who in the main have found this form of RC Modelling by accident, much in the same way as you, if your reading this for the first time.

Traditionally based around the 1/5th Scale On Road Class, we have evolved over the last decade or so to welcome most forms of bikes and whilst we still focus on 1/5th Scale competition the new 1/8th Class is finding favour with newcomers as an ideal opportunity to join in the fun.

We organise Competition Meetings throughout the UK in addition to Club racing outside these dates. By the very nature of our numbers, we try and encourage the Club racing atmosphere at every event we attend.

If you would like to join us at any of the published dates, we even have a bike available for you to use or would just like some information, no matter how trivial you consider, then just get in touch with any of the contact names listed or just visit our active Facebook Groups :- “BRCA Bike Section” and “Moto 5

Halifax Race Report, electric by Andy Carless and nitro by John Veal

Saturday

Arrving at the track we unfortunately were met by a bit of a downpour which had threatened all the way up from down South. But the Halifax track seems to dry pretty quickly and it didn't take long before we were out practicing and the grip was good. Times were very quick, with Darren and Peter being the guys to beat. I managed to get my bike to get slower and slower all day and into Sunday for some strange reason :-)  Team Kamtec were going well with their three bikes, I believe Alan was trying some PMT tyres as an alternative to the Roadies and GRPs, not certain how he found them. But could be another option available.

Saturday

We arrived at the Adur track mid day Saturday the weather was damp and windy but there was a few bikes out on track braving the conditions . As the afternoon went on the weather started to get better and the track started to get busy . Right from the off you could see that the FF01 bikes of Gary Clarke and Peter Vater was putting in some fast lap times and looking like bike to beat.

Here are all the results from this year and some previous years. Some early ones are missing as they are in HTML format, I'm working on changing those so I can upload.
Please click the link below to go to the relevant result/year. Depending on your browser it might download the 'linked pdfs' or display them in a browser window. Both ways will work fine.

Report by Martin Woodcock and Pictures/Captions by Andy Carless

Aldershot in Surrey hosted round three of the 2017 championship. Saturday practice was well attended with riders getting used to the updated track layout. Lap times were about a second longer with the modified chicane more twisty. Aldershot is so rewarding if you keep a tight racing line.
