The 2020 Clubman championship details are below.
The championship will be contested over 7 outdoor rounds on tarmac, attending some of the best outdoor tracks in the UK.
Formula One 21.5t motors. ‘Blinky’ ESCs (no boost or turbo).
Slick Tyre - Sweep - Front:SW-F21F-MXPG-BRCA, Rear: SW-F21R-SAPG-BRCA. Max 1 set per meeting.

Maximum lipo voltage of 8.40v. Lipos must be charged and discharged in closed lipo sacks. Charging must be balanced, and at no more than the maximum charge rate advised by the manufacturer.Motors, lipos, ‘blinky’ ESCs and touring car bodies must all be on the relevant BRCA approved lists.Full 2020 rules are here and Motor/Lipo lists are here.
Optional practice on Saturday.One round of timed practice Sunday morning.4 rounds of Round-By-Round qualifying. Your best 2 round positions are added together to give your overall qualifying position.2 rounds of finals, with trophies for the top 3 overall in each final, plus TQ and top juniors.
Each final counts as a separate championship score, with the A-final winner receiving 150 points, second 149 etc.
This gives 14 scores in total, with 8 to count (i.e. you must do at least 4 meetings to qualify for championship trophies).
£20 entry fee. Additional £10 for Saturday practice (paid in cash to the club).
Half price for all juniors! (16 or under on the meeting date). Please use the Under-13 or Under-17 button when entering to receive your discount. Juniors must book each event separately to receive a discount for each one.
Booking closes at 12 noon the Sunday before the event. At this time the number of finals will be fixed, and booking will reopen to fill any remaining spaces (e.g. 56 cars gives 6 finals, and there will be 4 spaces remaining).
We don't use reserve lists.
Start checking this page a couple of weeks before the event; this is when people start cancelling and spaces become available. We've had 10+ people cancel before, so there's usually a good chance of getting in.
You can cancel your entry here on the BRCA website until 7 days before the meeting. Click on the event below and you should have a Cancel option.
In the week before the meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your entry.
If you cancel with at least 7 days notice, you are entitled to a 70% refund. This is a manual process, please email email@example.com to request a refund, stating which meeting(s) were cancelled.

This long running GT12 Regional Series has always been friendly and reflexed race series, catering for the die-hard enthusiast, local racer, junior and beginner. The aim of the series is a completitive inter-club challenge for racers in East Andlia and local counties
6 clubs have agreed to host a round. Each track hosted by the club organsising the event and racing is in their normal venue. This means that the introduction to larger meetings for local members
All meetings are a full days racing, with timed practice, at least 4 heats and 2 finals. All 6 minutes. Awards for top 3 in each final and overall winners and Juniors

Rules are per BRCA Handbook, Random cell voltage checks can be made before each heat is run, Batteries and motors as per BRCA Handbook.
The charging of LiPo batteries must be in a protective container. I.E a LiPo Charging Bag

Marshalls must wait to be relieved before leaving their designated post to make it easier to identify that all marshalls are present.
The series will consist of 5 rounds with the best 3 to count to your overall championship score
Championship points for the 2020 season will be awarded for final position only with one bonus point awarded to the TQ driver (this is a change from previous years where points were awarded on both qualifying and final positions and has been brought in to bring us more into line with the national series. The winner of each Championship will be the driver that has the best 3 from 5 overall scores, that is of the five rounds of each class, your best three scores will go towards your overall Championship position and also your 2021 Formula grade.Drivers are reminded that although they can race in more than one region they can only score Regional Championship points in one! They must inform the club officials they are scoring points in another region at the time of booking into the meeting. These drivers must be removed from the regional finals and be placed in the open class finals.
As with last year there will be two junior classes competing within the main body of both the two and four wheel drive Regional Championships. They are Under 13, that is under the age of 13 as of 01 January 2020 and Under 16, that is under the age of 16 as of 01 January 2020. The top 3 juniors in each age group at each meeting will be awarded trophies. Championship trophies will be awarded at the end of the season for both age groups.
Veterans V40 and V50 will again have their results calculated at the end of the year with trophies for the top three in the championship as well as a shield for the winners.
ALL Juniors (both U13 and U16) will race for FREE at ALL BRCA ME Regional Championship rounds.
We will host an open class at each of our meetings where drivers from other regions may compete as well as buggies we will permit the use of rally cars and both stadium and short course trucks. Drivers competing in the regional event may NOT enter the open class as well.Open Class:
