Well the weather was not great leading up to this round but the club did a traffic amount of work to get the track ready thanks to all that helped. 60 racers entered this round with a damp drying track and clear sky’s all looked good.

Tamworth once again hosted the Schumacher GP in January 2016. This event is one which is always highly attended and is loved by the racers. The track layout was the same, proven design from the 1/12th Section meeting a few weeks earlier.

The RC Community has lost a stalwart person with the news that Heiner Martin has passed away this last Sunday, 20th. March 2016. Heiner had been known in RC communities throughout the World in most Classes of racing. Heiner Martin was born in West-Berlin in 1950.

During the boxing day flood the Halifax track suffered the worse flooding it had ever seen, over 2 metres deep! We have had this short report in from the club

Floods have hit the Carlisle club’s outdoor track during one of the many storms over the north of the country in 2015.  Keith Anderton from the Carlisle club is co-ordinating an appeal to everyone in RC to help get the club back on its feet.  Wherever you are, please contact Keith with any offers of help you can give.

Facebook has been alive with lots of clubs having good turn outs of the newly popular F1 Class, Stafford RC Model Car Club has been one of those clubs, The BRCA Secretary Darren Newton popped along to find out what all the fuss is about....

Alan Hubber of the Milton Keynes club reports “I’ve just come back from our Sunday morning MKRCC club meeting, the first since the Reedy event.  Wow, what a morning.  So many people came along to take a look and find out more information.”

We have had reports in that Halifax Track, The Yorkshire Radio Control Model Car Racing Club which was founded over 40 years ago, has suffered with extremely heavy Flooding....
