What do we do?
Essentially we race radio controlled 1/10th. scale Off-Road racing cars. All cars are electric powered.The racing caters for people from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on sex, age, or disability.It does provide; a challenging sporting environment where the skill required to drive and build the cars can be tested against other like-minded competitors.
Where do we do it?
The short answer is everywhere.It’s quite likely that there is a club somewhere near where you live. Included in this website are details of the representatives of your Region, along with their contact details and even a map with many clubs that could be just round the corner from your home.Another method of finding your local club is by contacting your local model shops, five minutes spent on the phone or internet, can open up a whole new dimension and fun in model motor sport.
Who are we?
We are a group of RC racing enthusiasts whose aims are best summed up by objective No. 1 — ‘To promote the construction and racing of radio controlled cars’. Please remember we are all non-paid volunteers doing what we can for model car racing.

Round 2 of the 2017 season saw the 10th Off Road section travelling to the south of the country and the Titchfield Off Road Club Hants (Torch), on arrival at the venue it was obvious to see the improvements that have been made in slightly under a 12 month period. The biggest improvement being the re-levelling of the main straight, using approximately 40 tonnes of aggregate to smooth out the nasty bumps that could cause cars to lose control in a straight line. The club had presented the venue fantastically with plenty of pitting space around the track perimeter and adjacent field.
The 2017 season opener for the 10th Off-Road Nationals took the section just off the M54 to Telford Model Car Club with a full entry on both days of racing with reserve drivers waiting ‘in the wings’ in the hope that places became available.
The track layout had an excellent balance of complexity to challenge all the entrants to the event whilst still having enough space to provide some forgiveness if minor mistakes were made. The pit, rostrum and camping area surrounding the track were all well maintained providing adequate space for their intended purposes, it was obvious to see from the overall standard of the venue that the months of hard work had paid off, a true testament to the club.
