This summer’s  dry hot weather allowed plenty of practice on Saturday . Tyre wear and finding a good set up were both challenging.

Sunday started with a short practice session for those drivers unable to attend on

Saturday, followed by four rounds of qualifying heats.

Richard K led off with Rob Scott and Daniel Chilvers  in hot pursuit. Daniel drove superbly eventually taking the lead and looking likely to take his first A final win. Unfortunately his rear drive belt started to fail allowing Richard K to take the lead ,and Bailey  moving up to second with Daniel losing ground but managing to keep third place for a podium finish just holding off a charging Richard Boult.

TQ Mark Green stormed away in to a comfortable lead until mechanical issues forced him to retire after 83 laps. Adam Southgate and Paul Dewsnap dropped out very early with Mark Boothman  also dropping out leaving just Steve White as the only driver to stay on for the full duration. Despite problems Ian Hartill rejoined and reeled in Mark’s position in the final couple of minutes to take second and his first A Final podium.
