Q: Are you feeling in good shape for 2016?
A: I’m feeling a lot more confident for 2016 after having an operation on my shoulder late last year.
Q: What have you done through the winter to prepare for the 2016 season?
A: I have been racing my Serpent F1 car in the BRCA GT Nationals over the winter in order to keep my thumbs sharp.
Q: Will you be running the same package in 2016? If not what is going to be different? (Car, Engine, Tyres, Fuel)
A: Again this year I will be running my Picco powered Serpent 748 Natrix. I will continue to use Matrix tyres, Velocity RC fuel, Kamtec bodyshells, RC Bearings, Savox servos, Vapextech batteries and Sanwa radio.
Q: Who do you think your main rivals will be in 2016?
A: My main rival for the 2016 season will have to be Peter Hellawell now that he is running Picco engines.

Richard Kozakiewicz

Q: Are you feeling in good shape for 2016?
A: Yes, I feel really good. The winter time was too long for me, I can’t wait until the first race! Of course I am also looking forward to reunite with my friends from the track. Let the fun begin!
Q: What have you done through the winter to prepare for the 2016 season?
A: Nothing special, I just prepared a new body and engine. Also, I rebuilt my old chassis with some optional parts. I reduced the weight of my car by around 100 grams, which will give me more opportunities for different weight balances. However, most importantly this year I will work on changing my style of driving to improve my corner speed. My goal is to improve my lap time by approximately 0.5 seconds.
Q: Will you be running the same package in 2016? If not what is going to be different? (Car, Engine, Tyres, Fuel)
A: Overall yes, my chassis will remain an Xray NT1. I am staying with Novarossi engines, Futaba radio and Savox servos. I will be using Blitz or Kamtac body, it will depend on the track conditions. The tyres I will use are the ones that will be available at the track.
Q: Who do you think your main rivals will be in 2016?
A: I think it will be similar to last year. Nevertheless, it’s a new year, new season and I hope that everyone will start with the same intensions of winning. But we will have to wait until October to see how it will end. I wish everyone a great season!

Q: Are you feeling in good shape for 2016?
A: 2016 will be a challenging year for me. I’m currently in my third year of University and may have to miss some of the races. The races I do attend on other hand; I will put 110% effort into.
Q: What have you done through the winter to prepare for the 2016 season?
A: Again due to University commitments, I’ve managed very little practice. I’m hoping to get back on track before the season starts again and get my thumbs ready for the first round.
Q: Will you be running the same package in 2016? If not what is going to be different? (Car, Engine, Tyres, Fuel)
A: I will be running my Serpent 748 TQ once again in 2016. I’ll also be running Savox servos, Sanwa radio and Kamtec Bodyshells. For this year I will be using Picco engines, Velocity RC fuel and Matrix tyres.
Q: Who do you think your main rivals will be in 2016?
A: Obviously it would be silly to rule out Glyn Beal since he’s won it so many times. I think Richard Kozakiewicz and Kieran Adamson will also be very fast.
