BRCA Bike Series 2017 - Round 4 - Adur Bikes Race Report Peter Vater - Photographs Ian Billett Saturday We arrived at the Adur track mid day Saturday the weather was damp and windy but there was a few bikes out on track braving the conditions . As the afternoon went on the weather started to get better and the track started to get busy . Right from the off you could see that the FF01 bikes of Gary Clarke and Peter Vater was putting in some fast lap times and looking like bike to beat. Sunday Sunday morning the track condition were good and the sun was out . Numbers were a little down for this national as a couple were away on holiday and a few decided to stay away but this was there loss as this is a great track for the bikes and everyone seemed to be enjoying the lay out . We had 2 heats of stock bike 1 heat of super bike and nitro bike . qualifying got under way at 9.45 and as expected it was the FF01's setting the pace in stock bike with Peter Vater going fastest then Gary Clarke. Matt Tims , Steve leake . In super bike it was Gary Sims with his Jabber followed by Neal Vater then Mark Plested both with KP21e and in nitro bike it was Graham Clarke FF01n going well . On to the finals The stock A final was dominate by Peter Vater's FF01 2nd was Matt Tims with his new bike that looked good for it's first showing at a national. In super bike it was Gary Sims who took both finals with his Jabber and will take some stopping from taking the super bike championship this year, followed by the 2 KP's of Neal & Mark . The Nitro Bike leg 1 was won by the FF01n of Graham Clark and i have to say looked very fast ,in the 2nd final it was Ken Gospel who kept his bike going to take the win with his RG . We would like to thank the Adur club and Ian in race control for a great weekend racing. Below are some excellent pics taken by Ian on the day.
