The fifth round of the 2025 season was held at the long established Wombwell circuit in South Yorkshire on the 30th/31st August.

A mixed forecast for the weekend but fortunately it stayed dry for most of Saturday,  and all day on race day. There was also a increase in entries . Trevor and the Wombwell club had obviously put in a lot of hard work making the track and infield very presentable. The grip was good all weekend with lap times improving progressively.

Sunday morning’s Drivers  briefing was followed by the usual short  practice session for those unable to attend Saturday. Then it was straight in to the qualifying heats.
