Our Safeguarding Policy includes the following elements:
- We have a designated Safeguarding Officer who is responsible for ensuring that our policy is implemented and that any concerns are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
- We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse or neglect towards any member, children or young people.
- We encourage all members, children, young people and parents/carers to share any concerns with us and have clear communication channels to do so.
- We regularly review and update our safeguarding policy and procedures to ensure that they align with current legislation and best practice.
- We work in partnership with other organizations and agencies to ensure that we provide the best possible support to children and young people.
- We respect the rights of all members, children and young people to be heard and consider their views and feelings when making decisions that affect them.
- We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all people who take part in our activities and will take all necessary steps to ensure their welfare.
