The BRCA Large Scale Committee today, Wednesday 10th April 2024, received a formal request from North West Large Scale to either postpone or change venues for the upcoming National due to be held at their venue on 27th and 28th April 2024. 

We regret to inform you that Round 2 will not be taking place at North West Large Scale on 27th and 28th April due to unforeseen circumstances. The camping field, though the track and pitting area are ready, is currently waterlogged and impassable for vehicles. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to improve sufficiently within the next 2 weeks.

Both the club and the section wanted to provide racers with as much notice as possible of these required changes. Therefore, any drivers booked in for the event or camping who would like a refund please contact the section to arrange. Alternatively, entries and camping fees will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled national event at North West Large Scale.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, and please note that this situation is beyond the control of either the club or the section committee. It is simply due to the record rainfall levels experienced across the UK throughout the recent winter.

The committee is actively exploring alternative options and will communicate a final decision no later than Monday 15th April 2024.
