What do we do?
Essentially we race radio controlled 1/10th. scale Off-Road racing cars. All cars are electric powered. The racing caters for people from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on sex, age, or disability. It does provide; a challenging sporting environment where the skill required to drive and build the cars can be tested against other like-minded competitors.
Where do we do it?
The short answer is everywhere.
It’s quite likely that there is a club somewhere near where you live. Included in this website are details of the representatives of your Region, along with their contact details and even a map with many clubs that could be just round the corner from your home.
Another method of finding your local club is by contacting your local model shops, five minutes spent on the phone or internet, can open up a whole new dimension and fun in model motor sport.
Who are we?
We are a group of RC racing enthusiasts whose aims are best summed up by objective No. 1 — ‘To promote the construction and racing of radio controlled cars’. Please remember we are all non-paid volunteers doing what we can for model car racing.

The fifth round of the 2025 BRCA 1:10th Off-Road Nationals brought intense 2WD racing action to TORCH RC Club. Drivers faced a technical track layout with fast straights and challenging corners, demanding precision and consistent pace to achieve podium finishes.
Qualifying was tightly contested, with several drivers posting near-identical lap times. Tommy Hall took pole position thanks to his flawless execution over three rounds, narrowly edging out Neil Cragg. Ben Smith and Jamie Hall completed the top four qualifiers, all demonstrating strong pace and control.

Tommy Hall delivered a masterclass in consistency and racecraft to claim the overall win in the A Final, with Neil Cragg finishing just behind, making it another close battle for the championship. Ben Smith completed the podium after a strong performance in all three legs.
B Final: Lewis Hopkins claimed top honors with 11/307.41 laps, followed by Harley Eldridge and Matt Drewett.
C Final: Charlie Saunders secured the win with an 11/308.52 lap result, with Oliver Nattress and Abe Lyons completing the podium.
D Final: Matthew Thompson dominated to take the win, ahead of Markanthony Jones and Aaron Nash.
E Final: Kit Jones took the top spot, followed by Tony Evdoka and Liam Robinson.
F Final: Harry Mears won, with Ben Stephenson second and Joshua Walton third.
G Final: Graham Lisle was victorious, narrowly ahead of Ben Elliott and Scott Follington.
H Final: Roger Tugwood took the win, with Andy Manning and James Evans completing the podium.
I Final: Lee Charnock took the win, Colin Mulligan second, Matthew Hodges third.
J Final: Mark Christopher led the field, followed by Steven Harley and Paul Tonks.
K Final: Miklos Szabados took top honors, Lee Stokes second, David Channell third.
L Final: Jamie Careless secured the win, with James Martin second and Nathan Stanmore third.
The TORCH RC Club track tested driver skill and machine reliability in equal measure. Tommy Hall’s clean performance in the A Final was the highlight, but multiple finals saw close battles, strategic overtakes, and competitive lap times across all classes. The round has tightened the championship standings, leaving fans eager for the next event.
