Round 3 of the Large Scale Off Road Championship headed to North Ings, and the circuit once again delivered fantastic racing, close battles and some superb driving across all three classes.
2WD Buggy
Qualifying belonged to Oliver Whittleston, who stormed to TQ with his Elcon Traxx 3.0, showing blistering pace around the demanding North Ings layout.
When it came to the finals though, experience proved decisive. Andy Blackburn drove a faultless meeting to take the overall victory with his Elcon Traxx 2.0, keeping his cool under pressure to secure the top step of the podium.
Craig Chilvers also impressed throughout the day, bringing another Elcon Traxx 2.0 home in second place, while Mark Higgins completed an outstanding Elcon clean sweep with third, making it an all-Elcon podium.

4WD Buggy
The 4WD class produced some incredibly competitive racing throughout qualifying, with Alfred Jack Shilcock securing Top Qualifier honours in his VR machine after consistently setting the benchmark pace.
The finals belonged to Ian Oddie, however, whose Elcon Fourtex 2.0 delivered exactly when it mattered. A composed and consistent drive earned him a well-deserved victory.
Shilcock's speed continued into the finals, with Jack Keatley taking second place in the VR, while Karl Norris rounded out the podium in third with his ever-reliable Elcon Impact 2.0.

Short Course Truck
The Short Course Trucks put on another spectacular show, with close racing and plenty of door-to-door action.
Zachary Whittleston was the driver to beat all day, taking TQ in his Elcon Truxx 2.0 before converting that speed into a commanding overall victory in the finals.
Behind him, Jake Humphreys drove his Losi 5T to a strong second-place finish, while Jake Faulkner completed the podium with his MCD W5 after another consistent performance.

Round 3 Summary
North Ings once again proved why it's one of the favourite stops on the calendar, producing fantastic racing from the first qualifying heat to the final chequered flag.
It was another hugely successful weekend for Elcon, taking victories in all three classes, with particularly dominant performances in 2WD Buggy where the Traxx platform locked out the entire podium.
