This section within the BRCA is run by a small group of experienced racers whose aims are to put on a really great bunch of events to provide you with the most enjoyable day as possible.
We have 2 types of race classes all running together on the same day; Nitro powered Truggys and Electric powered Buggys (E8).
1/8th scale 4wd Truggys are similar to 1/8th 4wd Rallycross (buggy) cars but they are wider, longer and have Truck based body shells.
1/8th scale 4wd E8 Buggys are very similar to 1/8th 4wd Rallycross (buggy) cars but they are powered by Lithium Polymer batteries.
1/8th Scale E-Truggy's are starting so appear too. When we have more of these there will be a E-Truggy Championship.
The national races are held on off road circuits around the country. The tracks can feature all sorts of obstacles such as jumps and tabletops and they are generally made of Astroturf, dirt or grass. The thrills of driving both these types of vehicles are hard to match with other sections of racing!

A Main E Buggy A1 & A2
Field started off with a good clean start meaning Jonny & Paul were battling really closely and Jonny & Paul swapping 1st and 2nd spot but mid race we saw Paul made some errors which cost him lot of time let Jonny get away which meant Graham Alsop close the gap through out the race to Paul Crompton but Paul was able to gap in slightly so he was able to gap away but Jonny Skidmore was able to Take Win In LEG 1 Ahead of Paul Crompton and in 3rd Graham Alsop. Leg 2 was off and away and this leg saw so many changes to the lead so Jonny was leading it until big crash on lap 1 which saw him dropped few places but he did again on lap 2/3 which saw him back of the pack which saw Paul Crompton leading he made some more errors which saw Graham Alsop take the lead so he was able to keep very big gap to 2nd but Jonny retired about 6mins so his chance of winning today A Main has gone but nothing really much changed either way part from Graham Alsop was able to win LEG 2 and he finished 20.6 seconds ahead of Paul Crompton and with Erik Lykke in 3rd.
Truggy A Final
Final Has Started underway and top 5 got away cleanly and very close battle started to shape up between Thorne ,Austin ,Chew and every lap there was a lead change pretty much or 2nd or 3rd changed about after the first stops Joe Chew had a issue with his truggy which put him out of the race so it was beetween Thorne, Austin for the win and with and with 15mins to go we lost our leader Daniel Thorne SWORKZ and he had to retire due to an issue with his car but but Daniel Austin was able to stay in lead and able to take the win and won by 34 seconds ahead of Team mate Chris Carlisle in p2 TEKNO and Charles Krontiris TEKNO p3.
